Familia Flamenca has had two highly successful seasons in Durban with the Linda Vargas Comspany. This exciting production is being brought down to Cape Town in collaboration with Flamenco Del Sur and under the direction of Juana Vargas. To pay tribute to this rare dynamic in flamenco, the production of Familia Flamenco seeks to celebrate our own unique family bonds that exist between the two companies of Flamenco Del Sur and the Linda Vargas Flamenco company. This production boasts two sisters; two brothers; a husband and wife; a mother and son; an aunt and nephew and a cousins relationship – so typical of the gypsy tradition the show pays tribute to the richness, beauty and strength of the family unit in Flamenco.

The show runs from the 12th – 16th December at the Little Theatre, Orange St, UCT campus. Ticket range R100 – R120. Guest Artists include Linda Vargas, Demi Fernandez, Ramon
Fernandez, Enrique Marin, Bianca Fernandez, Jules Armstrong, David Romero.
