Jules & Bianca are the mother & daughter team that own & run The Dance Studio Cape Town. Combined, they have over 57 years of dance experience, have danced extensively overseas & now teach over 12 different dance styles from their studio in Blouberg. Although they are both extremely versatile dancers, teachers & choreographers, their true love & passion stems from Spanish, Oriental & Contemporary dance influences. They have combined these dance styles into a rich, expressive & passionate fusion which is best described as’ Gitanas’ (Spanish word translated as Gypsy). It is a combination which highlights the sensual femininity & fluidity of Oriental Dance, the strength, passion, expression & rhythms of Flamenco Dance & the grace & technical ability of Contemporary Dance. The GITANAS performance group combines all of these styles together in their cabaret shows.
